A grand parade took place at the ceremony celebrating the 80th anniversary of August Revolution and National Day at the historic Ba Dinh Square in Ha Noi on September 2 morning, stirring deep emotions in the hearts of all Vietnamese people.
Implemening the Government’s Resoltion No.263/NQ-CP on presenting gifts to citizens on the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day, the Ninh Binh provincial People’s Committee had issued Document No.109/UBND-VP5 on guidance local sectors, branches, localities to promlty present gifts to citizens.
This year’s National Day holiday lasts four days, with a sharp rise in travel demand. The capital Ha Noi, with numerous activities marking the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19) and the National Day (September 2), has drawn large numbers of visitors. Many people have returned to visit the capital while combining their trips with tours to other destinations in the northern region.
To celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19) and National Day (September 2), the northern province of Ninh Binh will host a wide range of cultural and entertainment activities, including fireworks displays and art performances.
Vietnam has implemented 40 amnesties in 80 years. Since 2009, 11 presidential decisions have benefited nearly 100,000 prisoners.
