Chairing the steering committee’s hybrid meeting with relevant ministries, agencies, and provincial authorities on July 25, Deputy PM Chinh stressed that as a key national celebration marking the 80th anniversary of National Day (September 2, 1945 - 2025), the event must be held in a dignified manner, in line with the Party and State’s guidelines, with a scale, stature, and significance worthy of the nation’s proud 80-year journey.

Russia, China, Laos, Cambodia, and Belarus have been invited to join a parade during the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945) and National Day (September 2).

These commemorative activities are expected to consolidate the Vietnamese people's confidence and pride in the Party and the State, and strengthen social consensus, as the country is about to enter a new era of development and prosperity.This year’s celebrations marking the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day (September 2) will feature a range of special activities.
